Who I work with

Support at every stage

Children (age 4 and up)

Big feelings, worries, changes at home or school, and friendships that feel hard. As a former teacher, I know how much a tough day at school can weigh on a child.

Sessions are paced for each age, and parents stay involved in ways that help.

Teens

Pressure at school, friendships, worry, low mood, and working out who you are.

A space to talk openly, with a clear conversation at the start about privacy and how parents are involved.

Young adults

The move into adulthood brings new responsibilities, changing relationships, academic pressure and uncertainty about the future.

Counselling helps you identify strengths, manage stress and navigate change.

Adults

Work, relationships, family responsibilities and life transitions can feel overwhelming.

Counselling gives you space to understand the patterns affecting your well-being and find practical ways forward.

Parents and families

Emotion-focused family therapy (EFFT) supports parents and caregivers in helping their child through big emotions.

Family sessions are 50 minutes, in person or online.

My approach

Built on trust, respect and understanding

Counselling works best when it is collaborative. I work alongside each client to understand their experience, set goals and choose strategies that fit.

Depending on your needs and goals, I draw on these approaches:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including mindfulness skills

You should feel heard and supported as you work toward meaningful change.
